Why iPHone when you can iLetter?  Come join us @theLibrary as we practice the ancient art of handwriting notes and letters.   We will have stationery for you and will even mail your letters!

Teen Read Week — Oct 7-13

To celebrate the awesomeness of books, we participated in Teen Read Week.  When students finished a book, they filled in a “Teen Read Ticket” @theLibrary. Over 130 tickets were submitted and 20 tickets won prizes (candy, bookmarks, fame…). Grand prize?  Juliana S chose to purchase this book:  “Baking All Year Round” by Rosanna Pansino.


6 in September

This September, SMS was invited to write 6 Word Book Reviews. These snappy reviews became small signs in the library and for book recommendations.


Book Groups — 2nd Wed of Every Month

Each month, Bellingham Public Teen Librarian, Jennifer Lovchik, will host a Book Group at Shuksan. These will occur during lunch in the library, so please bring your lunch! Everyone is invited!  Free prizes, great books, fantastic people.

Typing Agent

Become a champion typist!  Use your Office365 credentials to access this program, Typing Agent.

You may be asked to type in your school. So, type in Shuksan. This will lead you to a page where you login with your Office365.  Then, Typing Agent will appear and ask you to show your skillz!
