USING LIBBY AND ConnectED

The Bellingham Public Library has partnered with the Bellingham Public Schools known as ConnectED.  This gives students access to great educational resources and learning materials in our libraries and on the internet. Each student gets a connectED “library card” and this give them access to physical and digital books.

We encourage all students to access the digital and audio book collection by downloading the Libby App on their computers.

I’D LIKE TO GO TO COLLEGE.  WHAT SHOULD I READ?

Reading for enjoyment can help you do better on College Entrance exams.  Lots of students want to know, “What books should I read?”  Our advice:  read as much as you can and as widely as you can.  Read all types of books and build your brain.  There are a lot of book lists that you can select from to challenge yourself.  We can get many of these books from the high school or you can check them out at the public library or via Libby.
